Field Sales Engineer
Location: South, England

The Role:
Assuming control of all existing and potential customers within southern England
Exploiting maximum business opportunities with customers
Taking responsibility of maintaining and exceeding sales targets within the given area
Participating in sales activities including: customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations and customer seminars.
Producing quarterly sales forecasts in conjunction with the Field Sales Manager
Maintaining customer activity files on a custom built CRM database.
Identifying, developing, and maintaining new opportunities.
Influencing technology selection at early design stages of new or planned projects.

The Successful Candidate:
Proven track record in industrial or process sales in similar products and services.
Capable of communicating and establishing strong relationships at various levels of business – e.g. instrumentation & process engineers, buyers, project managers, site maintenance and operators.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Conscientious, self motivated achiever, who is capable of working on own initiative.

Job Title: Technical Project Administrator / Engineer
Location: Lower Earley, Reading, Berkshire
Salary: Attractive Package Experience Dependant
Employment term: Short term contract, 1 month rolling with possibility of full time position

ABLE Instruments & Controls Limited:
Leading supplier and manufacturer of process instrumentation and control solutions.

Candidate profile:
Due to our continued growth, we require a reliable, well-organised, confident and enthusiastic individual to assist with the many administrative and technical tasks required during the Project execution process.

The successful candidate will be well presented, highly organised, outgoing and able to use their initiative and problem solving abilities to complete their responsibilities accurately, appropriately and conscientiously and with the minimum of supervision, and all within an environment involving multiple concurrent system implementations.

ABLE operate a relaxed office environment but with a constant pressured workload, however we remain resolutely focussed on delivering the highest quality products and customer service.

The Role:
The successful candidate will help to improve the existing structured project management and system implementation process involving:

• Collating, submitting, filing and general organisation of project documentation
• Expediting of sub-suppliers and customers for documentation submittals and reviews
• Organization of project orders from receipt to delivery
• Assisting project engineers with the above with respect to major orders
• Depending upon available skill sets, production of customer drawings and documentation
• Setting up and implementing certain document systems

Qualifications:

• A-Levels, National Diploma, NVQ Level III or higher qualification
• Relevant industry (process instrumentation / engineering) experience would be beneficial
• Experienced project engineer / administrator

Personal:

• Confident, outgoing and well organised, with drive, initiative and enthusiasm
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to contribute to, and work as part of the team, but also the ability to work unassisted

Required skills:

• Strong organisation, coordination and project management skills
• Demonstrable understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and verbal language skills

Advantageous skills:

• Experience of AutoCAD 2D Drafting Package.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and project management methodologies
• Electro/Mechanical background either in education or work experience
