1985 with the vision of providing instrumentation and

meet the demands of the measurement regardless of

Whilst we have a nationwide network of sales
and support offices, our manufacture, calibration
and repair facilities are located in the South East
of the UK in Reading, Berkshire.
As an extension
of our philosophy to provide total control and
instrumentation solutions, we have expanded the
test and calibration services available at Reading,
to offer calibration of specific instrumentation.
ABLE operate in industrial and research environments
where high technical standards of both equipment
and personnel are expected. We employ only suitably
qualified and experienced engineers. The highly
technical nature of both our core products and
those products outsourced, coupled with continual
development and improvement, demand that intensive
initial training be supported regularly by refresher
training courses.
All engineering and technical staff are trained
to such a level as to be capable of installing,
commissioning and troubleshooting the equipment
supplied. Able engineers regularly attend training
courses run by sub-suppliers of specialist
equipment.
The qualification and training records are fully
reviewed, in accordance with our ISO9001
quality assurance system, prior to delegation
of any activity.
To ensure
maximum concentration of technical expertise, we
have a clearly defined departmental structure. This
includes appropriately qualified personnel heading
up each department a case in point is our IT
department which includes a Microsoft certified
systems engineer, therefore allowing us to incorporate
the latest computing developments into day to day
company operation.
