| Point
Level Switching Systems |
Our point level switching solutions ignore the effect
of buildup or material coating on the sensing element.
The technology, R.F. admittance, employed by these
products indicates
presence or absence of media, making it by far
the most versatile technology. This technology is good for
a very wide
range conditions from cryogenics to high temperature,
from vacuum to 10,000 psi pressure and it works with
all types of materials.

Clearline
506-7000 Series Level Transmitter 406-7000
Series Electronics
The Clearline In Line Fluid Detector is a
unique non-intrusive design that mounts directly
into the process piping. Cote Shield™
circuitry allows the switch to ignore material
buildup on the sensing element. It can be
used for pump cavitation protection, low level
in the outlet piping of lined vessels, or
interface detection below a storage vessel.

IntelliPoint
RF - Line Powered
The IntelliPoint RF Series is able to detect
the presence or absence of material without
adjustments. Simply install it in a tank and
apply the power. The IntelliPoint RF’s
software continuously monitors the application
for changes in composition, dielectric or
conductivity and maintains a repeatable trip
point on the probe. Other RF and capacitance
systems require calibration adjustments when
the process material changes. Since the IntelliPoint
RF Series recognizes changes in material,
it is ideal for non-dedicated tanks that are
used for a variety of products.
The IntelliPoint RF Series is housed in a
dual compartment enclosure that separates
the customer wiring and power supply from
the sensing element and operating circuits.
The encapsulated power supply/terminal block
design also eliminates the possibility of
damage caused by moisture in the conduit.
In addition to the new enclosure, the IntelliPoint
RF Series incorporates several other design
features:
A universal power supply automatically detects
the input power source and eliminates the
need to configure jumpers or choose from various
wiring configurations. Time delay is standard,
and can be selected to delay the system from
going into alarm or from recovering from an
alarm. All systems include a continuous Verify™
self test, ensuring proper operation and system
integrity.

IntelliPoint
RF - SIL Compliant
Our Best and most versatile point level switch for liquids, slurries, granulars, and interface applications. With the IntelliPoint, simply install the sensor in your vessel and connect the power. The IntelliPoint, with an Auto-Ranging power supply, automatically calibrates itself. The self-test function of the IntelliPoint insures proper system operation. An AutoVerify™ self check circuit continuously monitors the complete system to verify it is functioning properly. The manual Certify™ not only checks the function of the system, but also checks the AutoVerify self-test circuits to make sure that they are also working properly. All these features make the IntelliPoint the most versatile RF switch on the market.

LCS™
506-6000, 506-6100, or 506-6300 series level
switch with 406-6000, 406-6100, or 406-6300
series electronics
The LCS product line consists of line powered
switches that are designed for local control.
Output is through DPDT relay contacts. Cote
Shield™ circuitry allows the switch
to ignore material buildup on the sensing
element. Typical applications include high/low
level indication, pump start/stop control,
plugged chute detection, and interface indication.
Agency approvals include FM, CSA.

LCT™
506-6200 series level switch with 406-6200
series electronics
The LCT products are two-wire devices that
are designed for centralized control. The
out-put from the LCT is a 4 to 20 mA signal
that can be sent to a receiver package, PLC,
or DCS.
Cote Shield™ circuitry allows the switch
to ignore material buildup on the sensing
element.
Typical applications include overfill/spill
prevention and general high level indication.
Agency approvals include FM, CSA, KEMA, PTB,
SAA, and TUV.

Multipoint
II
506-3000 series level switch with 406-3000
series electronic
Our line powered multiple point switch
which offers up to four control points on
a single sensing element. Output is through
DPDT relay contacts. Cote Shield™
circuitry allows the switch to ignore material
buildup on the sensing element. Typical
applications include sumps where pump start/stop
and high/low indication are required and
batch processes.

The
Point
RF Point Level Switch
No Calibration
The only RF switch you won't calibrate.
Simply install ThePoint into the
tank and apply power …that's
it! Unlike other RF or capacitance
systems that require calibration
via setpoint potentiometers, jumpers,
magnets, or pushbuttons, ThePoint
series reliably detects the absence
or presence of material without
any adjustments.
ThePoint series software continuously
monitors the application for changes
in composition, dielectric or
conductivity, and maintains a
repeatable trip point on the probe.
Other RF and capacitance systems
require calibration adjustments
when the process material is changed.
Since ThePoint recognizes changes
in material,it is ideal for non-dedicated
tanks that are used for a wide
variety of products.
Lower Cost of Ownership
In addition to lower initial investment,
ThePoint continues to save with
little or no maintenance compared
with other technologies. Further,
the sensor can be lengthened or
shortened in the field, saving
need for additional purchases.
Universal Power Supply
ThePoint electronics use a universal
power supply module that can be
powered from a 19 to 253 Vac or
19 to 55 Vdc supply without moving
jumpers.

Z-tron
III
Z-tron III™ Point Level
Switch A Reliable Low-Cost,
On/Off Level Switch
The low-cost,Drexelbrook Z-tron
III level switch is unaffected
by sticky coatings and impervious
to corrosive liquids.
The all-electronic design means
no moving parts to wear,break
or fail. Based on field-proven
RF technology,the Z-tron III
is a simple and reliable on/off
level switch.
The compact one-piece unit
is inserted through a standard
3/4-inch NPT opening into the
vessel so that the sensing element
is positioned at the desired
high or low level. (Other connection
types and sizes are also available).
When the material level reaches
a predetermined point on the
sensing element,it causes a
change in status at the electronic
unit,resulting in actuation
of the DPDT relay. The relay
can be used to operate alarms,
annunciators,valves,or other
control or indication devices.
